Basically the process of making PVC cable involves the coating of the copper wire with PVC plastic. And the process of coating or covering the wire takes the following stages. A wire tensioning and pay off unit carrying the base wire drums releases the wire under proper tension to the cross head mounted on the extruder. The extruder melts and delivers the required quantity of PVC compound to the cross head carrying suitable size nipples and dies in which the actual coating takes place.

Alkyd Resin production process Updated
Process description
Alkyd resin can be manufactured by four different processes, solvent process being the main commercial process which starts by adding all the raw materials in reaction kettle and the agitation of the same is continued then, inert gas is sparged through the spare line. The vapour are condensed and recycled back to the kettle.
The reacted mass is dropped into a jacketed tank, containing the desired solvent. The cooled resin solution after thinning is filtered in filter press and sludge is removed. It is lastly tested,

Plastic Buttons Making Process
Raw Materials
The following is the sequence of operation
1. Acrylic Button Section
The main raw materials for the plant will be acrylic sheet and urea formaldehyde. The acrylic sheets are cut into required pieces i.e. 1inch to 1.5 inch and 2 inch width on the sheet cutting machine. Round pieces of actual size of the buttons are then made on a drill machine with the help of a hollow mill cutter. Thereafter, proper designing/ shaping is done on the buttons by the designing /shaping machine. The designing of the type of fish eye is obtained with the help of slotting machine. Other such type of suitable designs can also be made with the help of slotting machine which is attached to the designing/shaping machine. After the completion of the above process, the buttons are polished. Lastly 2 to 4 holes as may be required are made in bottom. This is done on the hole-master machine.
- Cutting of acrylic sheet to rough shaped buttons
- Cutting to required size and shape
- Forming of designs on the front surface
- Drilling of holes
- Polishing of buttons
- Packing
For urea formaldehyde buttons, the molding powder is first converted in to tablets of suitable size and width by tableting machine. These tablets are preheated in an oven and thereafter, compression molded in to buttons by a semi-automatic compression molding machine. The molded buttons are buffed if necessary and then packed.

Polyster Production Process
The technological options available mainly correspond to the capacity of production. Regardless of the technology used the production process involves the following process.
The production process of fabric making is divided into four main groups, each group constituting a number of operations and machinery. The main processes are spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing.
- Spinning:
This process includes texture process, twisting process and sizing. In general it includes giving a special mechanical heat-setting treatment to the polyester filament/yarn, provide the weaving ability as well as to offer fabric the necessary strength and elasticity; align and prepare the weaver's beam in specified number of ends and length for weaving.
- Weaving process
This involves: Weaving preparation (that include reed drawing, dropper pinning and weft pirn winding) and weaving.
- Dyeing
This employs several piece dyeing methods under high pressure in either rope or open width. It also has hank-dyeing and cheese dyeing machines for yarn dyeing.
- Finishing Process
This is to finish the dyed fabrics in accordance with the specified width, length, density and handle etc. by heat setting and adding chemical agents.
The alternative technological option available is related to the production of soft and fluffy knitted products of exceptional quality by a technology of weft-knitted fabrics. The knitting features obtained in this way raise the level of the clothing's comfort of usage. This advantageous effect is the result of working-in a stream of untwisted fibers instead of the traditional yarn into the knitted fabric. Nonetheless, this option is not adopted by the envisaged plant since the manufacturing costs are higher than those for the classical technology.

Flow sheet of epoxy resin production process
Epichlorohydrine and bisphenol-A as respective raw material are fed into the reaction vessel. These are melted and undergo the first stage reaction with temperature maintained constant.
In this first stage reaction, which is exothermic, epoxy radical is separated from epichlorohydrine to be attached to hydroxyl radical, thus producing chlorohydrine ether.
In the second stage reaction the produced chlorohydrine ether causes a...
